Matt Morgan
Matt Morgan has been recording and producing records for over 15 years. Matt has produced tracks for, Mandi Leachman, Jeff Chandler, Rodney Stokes, The Lackies, Scott Allen, The Black Lungs, Melle Augustine, Fontaine, Red Against Green, Charles Hedgepath, & Everlasting Earle among others. He has worked as a sound designer for plays and movies in New York City, as well as a producer in various studios throughout the eastern United States. Matt has ran live sound for such bands as Hootie And The Blowfish, Edwin McCain, The Flying Mice, Steve Morse, Southern Culture On the Skids, and Derek Trucks to name a few. He has also toured the United States with various bands ( Big Brown Bowl, Seconds Flat, 17 Feet of Funk, The Lackies ) and is currently in “Red Against Green”, who is in the process of recording their debut CD. He also works as a teacher, doing a summer program for The Fine Arts Center, working with Middle school kids, similar to the movie “School of Rock”. Matt Morgan is co-owner (along side of Jason Graydon) of Sit-N-Spin studios.
Ken Ledbetter
Ken Ledbetter, Sit-n-Spin’s house engineer, has been recording and producing music for the past 10 years with ID10T Studios and most recently at Sit-n-Spin. He also did time running live sound with Sergeant Rock Sound in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been writing and performing in bands and as a solo artist since 1986. His bands include: Local Color, Woodlore, Flat Land 2 Step and The Ledbetter’s. Ken also currently teaches guitar at Phil’s Music located in Mauldin, SC.
Jason Graydon
Jason is the founder of Sit-N-Spin Records which opened as a mom & pop record shop catering to indie record labels. He has been an avid music fan & musician all of his life playing in various bands for many years, currently playing in The Black Lungs. Spearheaded the opening of Sit-N-Spin studios with Matt Morgan and aspires to someday begin an indie label alongside the studio, the first such label in the upstate area.
